Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or medical supplies to designated locations using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary mobile tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Handle cash transactions and process electronic payments accurately
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Virginia Beach metropolitan area roadways
- Proven experience in delivery, logistics, or customer service preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic smartphone proficiency for mobile app operations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
