Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to deliver freight on assigned weekend routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules across multiple stops
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route challenges proactively
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate manual transmission
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro area and regional highways
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements (Hazmat preferred)
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities
