Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages across Washington DC
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Load/unload packages with precision to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Communicate delivery status via mobile app to customers and dispatch
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all DC traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC metropolitan area
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
