Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial customers within Virginia Beach
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper loading/unloading of goods
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or route changes
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management skills and route navigation abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
