Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in the Baltimore metropolitan area efficiently and safely.
- Utilize handheld delivery technology (smartphones/tablets) for navigation, route management, and proof of delivery.
- Ensure the vehicle remains clean, organized, and fueled throughout the shift.
- Interact professionally with customers, maintaining a high standard of service and resolving any delivery issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and time management requirements.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Accurately handle cash, credit cards, and digital payments at the point of delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using smartphone applications for logistics.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the depot.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional, polite demeanor.
- Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays.
