Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries across Columbus metro area
- Load/unload packages with care, verifying contents and maintaining delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and handle exceptions
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with minimum 2 years' experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Columbus metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDL preferred
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Background check and pre-employment drug screen required
