Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the San Jose area.
- Practice excellent customer service by adhering to delivery protocols and maintaining a professional appearance.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each shift to ensure safety and compliance.
- Utilize handheld technology to track deliveries and update status in real-time.
- Handle package handling with care to ensure items arrive in perfect condition.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery exceptions immediately to management.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and paperwork.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity for navigation and tracking.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions and varying hours.
