Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Charlotte metropolitan routes efficiently
- Ensure timely delivery of packages while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Assist with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte area geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation to our Charlotte depot
