Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to deliver goods on strict timelines
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Navigate complex urban routes efficiently using GPS and route planning tools
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Familiarity with Boston metro area geography preferred
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-provided)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging systems
