Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (CDL Class A/B) within Portland metro area
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Optimize daily delivery routes using GPS technology
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic manifests
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts for compliance with DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Report maintenance issues and complete required paperwork
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation laws and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic familiarity with Portland metro roadways
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
