Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, and supplies to Boston-area locations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and handle customer interactions professionally
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations
- Assist with loading/unloading and inventory management at warehouse locations
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions to dispatch team in real-time
- Uphold company standards for cleanliness, organization, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with commercial vehicle operation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Familiarity with Boston neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication tools
