Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses using company vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures when required
- Maintain accurate delivery records through mobile scanning technology
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts for safety and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues proactively
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery tracking apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Knowledge of Boston area neighborhoods and traffic patterns
