Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and documents to customers within designated Boston neighborhoods
- Maintain accurate delivery records and update real-time tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery issues professionally
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with traffic regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Secure packages during transit and handle fragile items with care
- Assist with warehouse duties including sorting, packing, and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile delivery applications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
