Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents throughout San Diego County using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and handle customer transactions
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and ensure secure cargo
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and local regulations
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class B) preferred but not required
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of San Diego streets and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Background check and drug test required
- Must pass DOT physical examination
