Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents throughout Raleigh metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof of delivery documentation
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
- Load/unload vehicles with proper lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs)
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch team
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
