Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver time-sensitive packages throughout New Orleans and surrounding parishes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle inquiries professionally
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrival while adhering to traffic regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and priority deliveries
- Secure packages appropriately to prevent damage during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and load/unload packages safely
- Familiarity with New Orleans streets and surrounding areas
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Reliable personal vehicle or willingness to use company-provided vehicle
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
