Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, documents, and medical supplies across Memphis
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology for on-time deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof-of-signature documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Handle special handling requirements for fragile or temperature-sensitive items
- Represent Swift Memphis Logistics with professional conduct and appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Memphis metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation apps
