Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive packages, medical supplies, and legal documents across Long Beach and surrounding areas
- Maintain strict delivery timelines using GPS routing and real-time tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and package handling
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and resolve delivery challenges
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols 100% of the time
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or commercial driving training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail and route optimization
- Professional communication skills and customer service orientation
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Long Beach area geography preferred
