Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, documents, and medical supplies to designated locations within Kansas City metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch team regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and proper package handling
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City streets and surrounding areas
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Exceptional time management and customer service skills
- Reliable vehicle or willingness to use company-provided vehicle
- Pass background check and drug screening
