Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents across the Wichita metro area
- Maintain strict delivery timelines using GPS navigation systems
- Verify shipment details and obtain proper signatures upon delivery
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting
- Provide exceptional customer service during all client interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Wichita streets and surrounding areas
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to/from depot location
