Responsibilities
- Safely and timely deliver urgent documents and packages to designated locations throughout Baltimore City and surrounding counties
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic manifests using provided tablets
- Verify recipient identity and obtain proper signatures for all deliveries
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adapt routes dynamically using real-time GPS navigation to avoid delays
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1-year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro roadways and traffic patterns
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation apps
- Reliable transportation to depot for daily shift start
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
