Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) within DC metro area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Document cargo and delivery logs with precision
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time adjustments
- Maintain professional customer service standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (required)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR and no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of DC/MD/VA roadways
- HAZMAT endorsement (preferred)
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts
