Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Load/unload freight with precision and care
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Maintain clean driving record and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of San Diego County roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning/night shifts
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience with hazmat or refrigerated freight preferred
