Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles across multi-state routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Deliver freight on time while adhering to strict safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for route optimization and delivery confirmations
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and securing techniques
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license required
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic knowledge of ELD systems
- Flexibility for overnight travel
- Strong attention to detail and time management
