Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van refrigerated) on regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years recent commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
