Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional routes and long-haul deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Deliver freight to distribution centers, retail locations, and job sites
- Maintain positive customer relationships during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Houston metro area navigation
- Hazardous materials endorsement preferred
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Strong time management and communication skills
