Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) following DOT regulations
- Plan and execute efficient multi-state delivery routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatchers for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure secure cargo handling and delivery verification
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR trucking experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- HazMat certification preferred
- Proficient with GPS and ELD systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Knowledge of Texas highway regulations
