Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks and delivery documentation.
- Deliver freight to customers in a timely manner while ensuring cargo integrity.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Handle loading and unloading of cargo with care and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) available for inspection.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Familiarity with regional and local delivery routes in the Northeast.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
