Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated DC metro routes
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route efficiency
- Represent Capital Fleet Logistics with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Washington, DC metro area geography
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends
- Willingness to complete company-specific training program
