Responsibilities
- Safely operate our fully equipped commercial delivery vehicles on assigned local routes throughout Los Angeles.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and proper maintenance.
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring items are secured and protected during transport.
- Provide exceptional customer service by verifying delivery details and obtaining electronic signatures.
- Maintain accurate digital logs and delivery records using our fleet management software.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or vehicle issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong working knowledge of Los Angeles street layouts and traffic patterns.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive lifting tasks.
- Reliable smartphone capable of using GPS and logging apps.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
