Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for long-haul deliveries across the Midwest
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Communicate with clients regarding delivery status
- Handle secure cargo with high-value materials
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR trucking experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight trips and variable schedules
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Knowledge of Michigan/Ohio/I-75 corridor preferred
