Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver time-sensitive packages during overnight hours
- Maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs and pre-trip safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes using advanced GPS navigation systems
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication
- Handle temperature-controlled freight with specialized handling procedures
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and local traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Knowledge of Baltimore metropolitan area
- DOT medical certification current
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with temperature-controlled freight preferred
