Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for night-time deliveries and pickups
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Accurately document delivery logs, mileage, and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean and organized vehicle interior/exterior
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with San Antonio metro area and Texas highway systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Pass background check and drug screening (DOT compliant)
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Exceptional customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
