Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles transporting freight across California
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B driver's license (CDL training provided)
- Clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for load calculations
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to obtain hazmat endorsement (paid training)
