Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-state freight transport
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS tracking systems for on-time performance
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes and delays
- Represent our company with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass mandatory DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California/Arizona/Nevada highway systems
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge for on-road repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Flexibility for overnight trips and variable start times
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
