Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for weekend delivery routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsement
- Maintain electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Represent Peak Logistics with professional conduct at client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Hazmat endorsement required (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of mountain driving techniques
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
- Flexibility for overnight weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
