Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for weekend deliveries across the DC metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for compliance
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance adherence
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle secure cargo transportation and delivery verification
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with DC/MD/VA road networks
- Basic cargo securement knowledge and experience
- Strong communication and time management skills
