Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across designated routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting vehicle conditions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork using electronic logging systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Secure cargo and ensure proper loading/unloading procedures are followed
- Respond professionally to route changes and unexpected logistical challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and traffic regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging systems
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays consistently
