Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across the Mid-Atlantic region
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Manage efficient loading/unloading operations with minimal delay
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Perform minor roadside repairs as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for overnight routes (1-3 nights weekly)
- Basic mechanical knowledge preferred
- Zero preventable accidents in past 3 years
