Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections ensuring DOT compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for optimal route efficiency
- Handle high-value/time-sensitive freight with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Adhere to strict HAZMAT protocols when applicable
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography & traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification current and on file
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work variable hours
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
