Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and reefers) on local/regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Maintain clean driving record and required certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Experience with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Local/regional route familiarity a plus
