Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Plan efficient routes while meeting delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Secure and verify cargo loading/unloading procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning starts and potential weekend shifts
