Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Maintain accurate electronic logging systems (ELD) and delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and transit communications
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and problem resolution
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Flexibility for overnight trips and irregular scheduling as needed
