Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional night routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols during all operations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
- Handle hazardous materials shipments (with proper endorsements)
- Ensure temperature-controlled cargo integrity for sensitive freight
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM schedule)
- Strong knowledge of Tampa Bay area roadways
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
