Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (CDL Class A/B) for night deliveries across Jacksonville and surrounding areas
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of Jacksonville area and GPS navigation
- Pass background check and drug screening
