Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for overnight deliveries across Florida and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch in real-time
- Secure cargo and verify delivery documentation at each stop
- Perform post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years recent tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to work overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
