Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute multi-stop delivery routes across Atlanta metro area and surrounding regions
- Maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs and pre/post-trip documentation
- Adhere to HOS regulations and all DOT/FMCSA compliance standards
- Handle time-sensitive freight with temperature-controlled and dry van experience
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Represent Swift Logistics with professional conduct and customer service excellence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Night driving experience in metropolitan environments
- Current DOT medical certification
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Atlanta traffic patterns and regional highways
