Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight freight delivery
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with GPS navigation and route optimization
- Secure cargo and complete proper documentation for each shipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Maintain clean driving record and report any incidents immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Michigan highway systems and industrial routes
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexible night schedules (4-5 days/week)
