Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries across Kansas region
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hazmat certification (preferred)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and overnight trips
- Basic computer literacy for ELD systems
