Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated trailers)
- Transport goods to and from distribution centers and client sites
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete pre-trip inspections and accurate delivery documentation
- Maintain timely delivery schedules while prioritizing safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Virginia and surrounding state routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts
